When Planning a Meeting
When selecting the menu for your meeting, remember to consider
the following:
» Try to determine the average age of people attending
and cater your menu accordingly.
» What is your male to female ratio? Men tend to eat more and
prefer hearty meals while women lean towards lighter fare.
» Be aware of different cultures and religions as well as the fact
that some people might have special dietary needs.
When you are planning a meeting or a conference which is scheduled to occur over several days, be sure to NOT BE repetitive with your menu. Our experienced event planners and chefs can help you with that.
When planning a conference that has a trade show component, be sure to allow time for set up and tear down. In addition, section off an area of the trade show floor for equipment and exhibitor storage.
