Customer Relations Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Receive & process orders in SAGE that come in via web/phone/emails and sales reps including creation of work order, coordinating with production and courier for delivery
  • Customer service with respect to offering suggestions on gift ideas, add on sells, dealing with customers concerns and tracking packages for customers.
  • Liaise with couriers to obtain shipping quotes and/or to book special deliveries
  • Retrieve orders from third party vendors/portals (such as Costco/Airmiles/Helix/ TSC), process in SAGE and then close orders/provide tracking info once shipped
  • Product returns- contacting customers for redelivery and re-delivery charges or processing credit notes/refunds for returns
  • Updating customer and salesperson databases, including creating new customer codes when required and assigning sales reps
  • During high season (October - December), duties include interviewing and facilitating training of seasonal employees, providing feedback and support, and general overseeing of Customer Service Department
  • Process ongoing gifting programs & maintain accurate inventory counts (such as Home closing/Monthly Birthdays/ Welcome Gifts/ New Baby etc.)

Skills Required

  • Proficient computer skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Knowledge of SAGE 300 ERP preferred but not mandatory
  • Effective communication skills including experience in a retail customer service setting
  • Able to work in a fast pace environment
  • Able to prioritize and handle times of increased work load
  • Focused and observant with attention to detail
  • Willingness to assist others, and take the initiative to go above and beyond role expectations

Job Type

Full Time. General work hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday - Friday. Some weekends may be required.
