We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Banquet Cooks, responsible for the meticulous preparation of event cuisine. Our ideal candidates demonstrate a keen attention to detail, prioritize cleanliness, and excel in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food from scratch, following recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines set by the executive chef.
  • Maintain a comprehensive prep list of station duties, ensuring effective setup and service.
  • Uphold immaculate cleanliness and organization at all stations, adhering to FIFO principles for optimal product freshness.
  • Proactively restock low items during shifts and promptly report equipment malfunctions for the executive chef.
  • Assist in the proper receiving and storage of delivered items, operating kitchen equipment with caution and care.
  • Adhere strictly to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene protocols, including Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate respectfully with colleagues, undertaking additional duties as assigned or required.


  • Minimum 2 years of cooking experience in fast-paced, upscale banquet settings.
  • Proficiency in cooking and handling food in high-volume environments.
  • Possession of a culinary diploma is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated expertise in professional cooking techniques and knife handling.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, following directions efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, coupled with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Applicant must reside in Canada
