Job Description
The Line Cook, is an integral part of the culinary team, responsible for all food preparation and service with a level of commitment and dedication that will guarantee a high level of consistency, quality and service that will meet and exceed the level of expectations of our guests. The line cook reports directly to the Head chef and is responsible for the food preparations to prescribed recipes and specifications outlined by the executive chef. Must have to ability to time manage and multitask while working under pressure both independently and as a team member.
Qualifications: The successful applicant must possess the following:
- Experienced preferred, but on the job training will be provided
- Must be able to work both as a team member and independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to time manage and multi task numerous responsibilities
- Ability to multitask & prioritize job duties
- Excellent problem solving and people management skills
- Ability to perform under pressure with the knowledge of all related food and beverage information
- Valid Smart Serve Certified preferred, but can be completed once hired
- Food Handler Certificate an asset
- The Manor has NO available public transit
- Ability to provide your own reliable mode of transportation is required.
Compensation:
- Part Time Hours
- Starting at $18.00-$20 per hour
- Wage is negotiable
- Flexible Hours and time off are available
