Job Description:

We're looking for a creative, social, performance-driven social media manager and marketing coordinator to manage the social media for all companies under the Peter and Paul's Hospitality Group of Companies. The Ideal candidate will have a firm grasp of social media, be creative, and have strong administrative skills and junior marketing experience. You will lead the social media strategy and marketing conversations around our events, various event venues and restaurants as the leading hospitality group in the GTA. You a hardworking and driven individual with a high sense of aesthetic, passion for storytelling and have a love for content creation. We are looking for a dynamic talent that thrives in a social environment with strong administration and communication skills!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversees and executes the social media for all PNP accounts and develop a social media strategy for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn etc.
  • Go to market execution and strategy creation on all marketing initiatives developed/requested by VP of Sales and Marketing
  • Copywriter for all print work, outward communications, marketing pieces, and social accounts
  • Writes all blogs and newsletters for PNP
  • Provide marketing direction to Engine 8 Media team on all marketing print and digital work required by VP of Marketing
  • Develop yearly marketing calendar for special events coverage/marketing, internal events, and brand awareness events. Execute calendar
  • Assist in planning and execute all internal events and external for the purpose of marketing the brand, creating awareness, and driving new business i.e.: open houses, internal golf tournaments, retail activations, client appreciation events, openings etc.  
  • Work with cross functional teams including graphic designer and webmaster and any Ecommerce providers (in house/external) to ensure our brand voice is clearly communicated & cohesive across all social media channels
  • Oversee and plan all google and social media paid ads as well as organic growth with 3rd party provider to align with overall initiatives for organization.
  • Manage all outside agency and vendor relationships related to the marketing of the brand including influencers
  • Manage and execute future initiatives for the brand involving Mobile app (order ahead, ecommerce, loyalty new acquisitions, customer engagement, reviews on google, open table)
  • Source photos and content for social media
  • Edit photos and schedule them on social media
  • Design grids and profiles for accounts on Facebook, twitter, Instagram
  • Responds and engages in social comments and conversations
  • Brainstorm and run campaigns on social media including contests and giveaways
  • Reviews analytics and determine new areas for growth, Increases followers and engagement
  • Create target audiences and boosted ads
  • Monitor customer reviews both negative and positive and flag for action
  • Gather/ create all content for website including photos, copy etc.
  • Set-up and manage our companies brand/image on external websites such as Wedding wire and Event source
  • Assist in media, and media related requests i.e.: press releases
  • Assist in crisis communication
  • Manage photographers/photoshoots for content creation/branding etc.


  • 2 years of experience as a Content Creator or similar role
  • Marketing degree or equivalent in Social Media
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle
  • Excellent knowledge of Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google, Pinterest
  • Availability to work a flex schedule on evenings and weekends. We are in the "hospitality Industry" this is not 9am-5pm and flexes based on the industry/events
  • Must have proven ability to create visually appealing and creative Instagram stories, Instagram Reels, Tik Tok videos
  • Must have excellent writing and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to operate in a high paced environment under tight deadlines
  • Photography and Videography knowledge is not a requirement but an asset
  • Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop knowledge is not a requirement but an asset
